Baystate Health Nurses Week 5K Run/1K Walk

Gear up for the Baystate Health Nurses Annual 5K Run/1K Walk! Whether you're looking to conquer the 5K run or enjoy a leisurely 1K walk, this event is your chance to get active while supporting the dedicated patient care team at Baystate Health. Lace-up alongside caregivers, their families, friends, and the community, and show your appreciation for one another in a dynamic, fun-filled atmosphere. All event proceeds fuel the Nursing Scholarship Fund, empowering nursing professional development through scholarships, education, and research.Check-in is at the employee plaza by the Springfield building entrance, with the race kicking off at 9:00 AM. Competitors will charge down Pratt Street, looping up Chapin Terrace, traversing Van Horn Park, and dashing to the finish on Chestnut Street. Volunteers and signs will guide you along the course. Post-race, enjoy light refreshments and celebrate the top finishers with medals awarded to the first, second, and third place in the 5K!

Bring the whole family—kids of all ages are welcome to share in the excitement. Free parking is nearby in the Chestnut lot. Be sure to arrive early for check-in, and if you're registering on race day, please bring cash. Stick around post-race for the brief awards ceremony. We can't wait to see you on the course!
