Beecher Freedom 5k Run/Walk

The race, organized by the Beecher Lion's Club, serves as a fundraiser to support their mission of community service, including providing vision screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to local residents. Registration and check-in occur early, with an entry fee for pre-registration and a higher fee for same-day sign-ups. The course winds through Beecher Village featuring a water station and accurately marked segments, along with computerized timing. Participants can enjoy free refreshments post-event. Last year's race had over 250 participants, drawing attention as an exciting community event that fosters both fitness and philanthropy.
