Break Bread Bun Run 5K

The Break Bread Bun Run, hosted by the First Presbyterian Church, is an event held at the YMCA of Valdosta. Participants gather at the lower-level parking lot at the YMCA and journey through the Old Wood Valley subdivision. Despite the endurance nature of this event, walkers are encouraged to join, aiming for completion within a reasonable time. Participation requires a registration fee, with proceeds aiding the Break Bread Together Ministry, a long-standing initiative delivering meals to low-income and homebound senior citizens in Valdosta. Recognition is given to top male and female finishers across various age groups.
