About the event

Come join the 14th annual Crossroads Trail Run!  Door County’s first and only trail run welcomes all runners and walkers to chose a 2k, 5k, or 10k distance at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve from June 17th, 2023. With chip-timing allowing for a staggered safe start. Awards will be given as places occur.  Packet pick-up is Friday, June 16th, 5:00-7:00 pm at the Collins Learning Center. Unclaimed t-shirts will be mailed within seven days of the race. To reserve your t-shirt size, registration must be made by May 26. All proceeds benefit Crossroads at Big Creek Learning Center and Nature Preserves.   *************************************** Highlights include: Three levels of courses: 2k, and 5k, and 10k fun runs - All NEW routes for 2023!!! 2K (1.24 miles) - Run/Walk
The 1.24 mile walk/run is a scenic loop that takes walkers/runners southeast along the perimeter trail of the Crossroads property, through the coniferous woods and over the wooden bridge north of the Hanson House historical site. Walkers will follow the east side of Big Creek and meander west over the wooden foot bridge. Continuing north, walkers will go past the amphitheater and head west around Hauser swale system to the finish line. Trail includes single and double track, with grass, wood-chip, gravel, and dirt foundations. Each mile is marked.

5K (3.1 miles) - Run/Walk

10K (6.2 miles) - Run ONLY

No refund including weather cancellations. This means that once you register you will not receive a refund for any reason. You can transfer your entry to another person or another event with written permission of the race director.

Bikes & Dogs
Bikes and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. As always, dogs are allowed on the property but must be on a leash at all times.

Aid Stations
There will be two water stations for 5k. There will be three water aide stations for 10k.
Keep it “GREEN”. Please bring your own water bottle. Uncap your bottle and the volunteers will refill your vessel. No paper waste.
