Join the Clean Lakes Alliance for the Frozen Assets 5K and experience the thrill of running or walking entirely on a frozen lake. This unique race offers athletes the chance to stride across the iconic Lake Mendota, with breathtaking views of downtown Madison to motivate your journey. The course kicks off and concludes at The Edgewater, situated right in the center of the Frozen Assets Festival.By registering for this event, not only do you secure your spot in the race, but you also receive an event t-shirt and optional chip timing. Your participation supports initiatives to protect and improve the water quality of our beloved lakes.

Enjoy the challenge of this chip-timed race for runners, or opt for a more relaxed pace with the walk pass, which is untimed. Awards await the top three male and female finishers. Prefer to go virtual? Register to participate from anywhere and receive your t-shirt by mail.
