Grand Raid de Camargue

The Grand Raid de Camargue offers a rare opportunity to traverse a protected natural area, accessible to participants only once a year. The course follows an extraordinary route, beginning behind a group of horses, crossing private beaches, passing through the striking pink salt tables, and navigating water passages over dikes and rocks. Along the way, participants will witness pink flamingos up close before finishing in the iconic Camargue arenas, where Arlesian tradition meets athletic achievement. The event is made possible through the collaboration of the Salins du Midi and the city of Arles, with strong environmental commitments. Certified by the Camargue Regional Natural Park and supported by conservation initiatives such as Natura 2000 and the Biosphere Reserve, the race embraces an eco-responsibility charter that prioritizes sustainable practices.
