John Colter Run - MT

The endurance event takes place at Missouri Headwaters State Park, requiring participants to navigate a challenging course featuring rugged trails, railroad crossings, and water obstacles. The unique course, reminiscent of the Lewis and Clark era, includes a mandatory water crossing under a railroad bridge. Safety measures like a safety rope are provided for deeper Gallatin River crossings. Competitors can relish the excitement of racing against the "John Colter" character and are rewarded for extraordinary efforts. Strict rules include no race bib transfers and a cap on participants. A post-race celebration features a barbecue, live music, and awards.
