The AG Antwerp 10 Miles is one of the most beloved running events in Belgium, with over 35,000 participants. The 10-mile race is the most popular, but there is also a 6.8 km short run, both of which take place in the beautiful city of Antwerp, with thousands of people cheering the athletes on. Ludo Van Campenhout, Antwerp's Councillor for Sport, said, "The AG Antwerp 10 Miles is the biggest take-part event in our city and Flanders. Running through the Kennedy tunnel and Waasland tunnel gives participants a unique experience. The entertainment and support of the crowd make the event more successful. We will continue investing in the running sport." Greg Broekmans from the organizer Golazo Sports added, "We are always looking for ways to improve and innovate. Last year, the 10 Miles route was changed and a fourth supply station was added for the participants' comfort. We will continue with this formula for success for the 35th edition. In 2021, we are revamping the AG Antwerp Short Run. The new course of 6 km will take the participants around the Galgenweel for the first time. They will get the amazing view of the Antwerp skyline while running, which will make it a truly special experience."
