Founded in 1978, the Cooper River Bridge Run is one of the most iconic 10K races in the United States, attracting tens of thousands of runners to Charleston, South Carolina each spring. Now run over the scenic Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, the course offers stunning views of Charleston Harbor and a one-of-a-kind race-day experience. From local legends to Olympic-level elites (and even Oprah in 1994), the race blends Southern charm with world-class competition. The event offers a wheelchair division and a big post-race festival.
