Kambria’s Color Fest Run/Walk

Come join us and enjoy a beautiful run or walk along the lake to raise money and awareness for DIPG!

DIPG or Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma is a cancer located in the brainstem mostly affecting children. It takes away their ability to walk, talk, swallow, and eventually breathe. There is no cure for this tumor and most families are given 6-12 months to live and told to go home and make memories. 

Kambria fought hard for 9 months while losing the ability to walk, talk, double vision, and many more but she fought with such grace and strength and always seemed to still find the best in things. One of Kambria’s wishes was to raise money for research so other kids have a better chance at survival. The government only spends 4% on childhood cancer and DIPG gets less than 1% of that funding. That’s where we come in. Our family decided to partner with the ChadTough Defeat DIPG foundation in hopes that we can make an impact while honoring Kambria in the process.
