Middlebury Resolution Run

This will be the 9th Resolution Run 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun walk to benefit the Middlebury Community Food Pantry . What a great way to start the New Year with some POSITIVE energy towards a very good cause!  We missed the live event for two years due to COVID, but we are back!  And we hope you come back as well!

Please note: The starting time has been changed as of 12-6-22 to 1:00 pm (not 10:00am). This will give people a chance to sleep or go to church before venturing out.

Race entry fee is $20 for individuals and $30 for families.  Long sleeve shirts are optional and additional $15 with your choice of grey or pink. The shirt order went in on 12/10,  but we did order extra shirts which are available onsite at packet pickup/onsite registration. Online registration closes at 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 31 but you can still register onsite, right before the event.  

The weather forecast is for mid to upper 40s. And  with the warm up and rain this week, the path should be clear of ice and snow!

Courses: The course starts and finishes at the Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center and are mostly on the Pumpkinvine Trail.

Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup is on Sunday, January 1- Essen Haus Inn and Conference Center, where we will gather pre and post race.

Onsite registration  and packet pickup will open  on New Years Day at 11:00 am and close at 12:45 am. The 5K run/walk race starts at 1:00 pm. The Mile Walk will follow after the 5K takes off. 

Entry Fee: Your entry fee includes a timed entry for the 5K and untimed for the Mile. Shirts are OPTIONAL and an additional $15,

Parking: Ample Parking right there at the venue.

Starting line.The starting line is right out on Wayne Street. We will walk everyone out together and wait for the police to close the road before we start.

Finish line: You will finish on a path BEHIND the Essen Haus, protected from traffic.

Awards: Top 3 Overall MF and 3 deep AG awards in 15 age groups. The Mile is not timed.

Post race Refreshments: After the race come in for some refreshments and the awards.
